Part-time Placement: Garden Program Coordinator, Sierra Middle School Outreach
Description: The Garden Program Coordinator works with Sierra Middle School teachers, staff, students, and parents to establish a school garden and develop curriculum to promote healthy nutrition and positive nutrition choices, non-traditional classroom learning, community service, and positive youth development. Additionally, the Coordinator will collaborate with La Semilla’s FoodCorps volunteer to organize garden, nutrition and culinary activities to support the development of La Semilla Food Center’s Farm to School Program. Spanish Requirement: Moderate fluency preferred, but not required
