AmeriCorps

Border Servant Corps is affiliated with AmeriCorps, a U.S. federal government program of the corporation for national and community service that offers 75,000 opportunities for adults of all ages and backgrounds to serve through a network of partnerships with local and national nonprofit groups each year. AmeriCorps is a division of the Corporation for National and Community Service, which also oversees the Senior Corps and Learn and Serve America. AmeriCorps itself is split into three main divisions, including AmeriCorps State and National, VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America), and NCCC (National Civilian Community Corps).

Each year, Border Servant Corps applies for an education grant for eligible volunteer positions. The AmeriCorps Education Awards Program allows volunteers to receive an education grant at the end of one year of service to be used to pay off previously obtained student loans or to be used for further education.

In addition, Border Servant Corps, in collaboration with other AmeriCorps-affiliated programs, participates in State and National Days of Service. See the Calendar of Events upcoming programming.
